An accident landed a truck in the Savannah River Monday night, May 22.
A man's truck slid into the river at the North Augusta city boat landing at around 7 o'clock.
Apparently the driver put it in the wrong gear by mistake.
He made it out of the cab before the truck was swept downstream.
The truck had to be retrieved by a wrecking unit.
