It appears former Augusta Public Work Director Teresa Smith has a new job.
The Columbia State newspaper reports she's the new Public Works Director for Richland County--the area around Columbia.
Her salary is $89,000 a year.
Smith was fired by Augusta commissioners last year, and there's talk she may sue the city.
