Jurors are now deciding whether two of Linda Schrenko's former co-defendants are guilty of fraud, conspiracy and money laundering.
Jurors got the case just after 3 p.m. May 18 and deliberated two hours before going home for the day.
Stephan Botes and Peter Steyn are the only remaining co-defendants in the trial surrounding $600,000 in federal education spending by former state school superintendent Linda Schrenko in 2002.
She's admitted to conspiracy and money laundering charges in the scheme to funnel the education money into her gubernatorial campaign.
