The autopsy of a 2-year-old who drowned yesterday shows that he died of accidental drowning.
It happened on the 4700 block of Mike Padgett Highway.
Reports say the boy's mother, Shannon Ryan, and her live-in boyfriend went to sleep, leaving the 2-year-old and his 6-year-old sister watching television.
About 30 minutes later, the 6-year-old woke Ms. Ryan, telling her 2-year old Jody Clyburn was missing.
Ms. Ryan's boyfriend, Arnold Rhodes, found Jody floating face down in a nearby pond.
According to Richmond County investigators, there are no charges pending for the mother or her boyfriend.
