An Augusta man will serve life in prison after being convicted in the 2004 traffic death of Janay Levey.
Friday, April 28, James Guyse was convicted on 1 count of felony murder, 5 counts of aggravated assault, and 1 count of driving under the influence.
Guyse was driving drunk on October 15, 2004 when he ran into a car being driven by Janay's mother, Doris Harris.
According to Assistant District Attorney Jason Troiano, Guyse had a blood alcohol level of .249 the night of the accident.
