Eight children have been removed from an Aiken home after officers say they found them living in filthy conditions.
Officers investigated a Hampton Avenue home after finding a 2 to 3 year old child playing in the road.
They found the home with garbage and spoiled food on the floor, the toilet and bathtub filled with dirty water, and only two beds for the ten people that lived there.
The children have been placed with other family members, and charges against the adults are pending.
