2 people in custody after meth bust in Beech Island

A meth bust at around 4:30 p.m. on April 24 at 110 Camellia Drive in Beech Island resulted in two arrests.

30-year-old Jack Harrison, Jr. is charged with possession of marijuana, and attempting to manufacture meth.

23-year-old Brandy Gregory is charged with simple possession of marijuana. She's also charged with attempting to manufacture meth.

Aiken County Sheriff Michael Hunt tells News 12 this bust is the result of a three-week investigation.

Investigators found marijuana and meth-making materials in the home.

Hunt also says though this isn't the biggest bust he's had, he's glad to keep the drugs off the streets.

"Well, it's not a real big operation...but it is a methamphetamine operation, and that's what counts," he says.

Both suspects are being held at the Aiken County Detention Center.
