Tuesday night the Aiken Planning Commission approved plans for a new Wal-Mart.
The Wal-Mart store will be located at the intersection of Richland Avenue and University Parkway.
The next step is for the city council to vote.
There will be two readings on the matter; the first one is scheduled for April 24.
