TRENTON, S.C. -- Two counties are trying to figure out if four armed robberies in two nights are connected. The latest victim is from Trenton. It happened on Tuesday morning around 3 AM along Highway 121 in Trenton.

The victim tells News 12 he wasn't sure if he was going to live. He was held at gunpoint, two guns, in his face, in a parking lot. Now, he's left wondering if he was set up for a violent night.

"It was just terrifying," says the victim.

He's talking about what happened in a parking lot outside of Los Jarochos early Tuesday morning. He was waiting to pick up his friend, but he waited too long.

"It was kind of weird when she didn't come through and I was about to leave; that's when I saw the guys just rush my car and that's when they busted out with the guns. Threw me on the floor," says the victim.

Investigators say five or six men came from the woods behind the convenience store, two of them with guns.

"I was just afraid because they put the guns up in my head. I thought I was going to die right there," says the victim. "They put up my shirt up over my head and a couple of seconds after that, they took off."

They took his case, his ID and got away.

This makes four armed robberies in two nights. The first two were Sunday night in Aiken. The third in Jackson, which the Aiken County Sheriff's Office says is a stand-alone incident. All four of the robberies involved guns; but luckily, no shots were fired in the latest robbery.

It's a scary thought for the manager of the convenience store, where the robbery happened.

"There's nothing else you can do, nothing else. Just try to get a gun and be ready for anybody else and check all the time who's coming," says Andres Andgulo.

Now, Andres is going to keep a sharp eye, which is how he found a cell phone in his parking lot. Turns out, it was the victim's cell phone. Now, the victim is left wondering why this all happened in the first place.

"I'm worried right now because I'm afraid they might come back again," says the victim.

Right now, investigators from Aiken and Edgefield County are working together to see if these armed robberies are related.

The fourth robbery happened in Aiken County on Bishop Road Monday night. The City of Aiken is asking the Sheriff's Office in Aiken County and the Edgefield County Sheriff's Office if any of the incidents are related.
