If you're heading to Kroger, you won't find any jalapenos to buy.

The nation's largest traditional grocery chain has removed all jalapenos from the stores as a precaution. The government is warning against eating fresh jalapenos or other foods made from them while it tries to track down a source of salmonella. On Monday, the F.D.A. reported finding a contaminated jalapeno from a distributor in Texas.
