HAMLET, N.C. .-- Three people were killed in a accident near Rockingham, North Carolina. The three were on their way to Surry County from Myrtle Beach.

North Carolina Highway Patrol says the SUV flipped over Tuesday afternoon, killing all three inside, including 22-year-old Brittany Nicole Hiatt of Evans, Georgia. She was originally from Mount Airy, North Carolina.

Witnesses say the SUV was going faster than the 70 mile per hour speed limit when it crashed.

The other victims were the driver, 21-year-old Justin Andrew Tate of Mount Airy, and 21-year-old Crystal Nicole Newsome, also from Mount Airy.
