The anticipation for the Masters is over and hundreds of folks are looking to score big by getting the best view they can: on the green.

People were lining up along Washington Road Monday morning trying their luck for tickets for the day's practice round.

News 12's Diane Cho was there over the weekend to see just how their luck is going.

The signs are up and the die-hard fans are in position.

Now all that's left to do is wait.

"I'll be out here all day until I pick up, right?" one fan, John, said.

And with the competition lined up all along Washington Road, he says it's all about location, location, location.

"I'll pick something up, I always do," John said.

It wasn't long before his sign caught this driver's attention.

But his hopes of scoring quickly ended up being a bust.

The driver was in need of a ticket himself.

"It happens probably about 200 times a day," John said. "This is my fourth year."

While John may be a seasonal pro, his competition only gets bigger.

But you'll still find others camped out the good old fashioned way...killing time by keeping each other company and distracting themselves from their only enemy.
