EZ-GO recalls specific vehicles because of crash risk

Augusta, Ga (WRDW)---The consumer product safety commission says EZ-GO recalled various vehicles on Tuesday.

EZ-GO is recalling vehicles because of a part not being tight enough on the steering wheel causing reduced control of the wheel.

They say the problem can result in a crash. They have reported one person being injured because of the problem.

The vehicles being recalled are various types of E-Z GO, Bad Boy and Cushman made from Augusta 2012 to February 2013.

Free repairs are being offered at E-Z GO dealerships.

The company is contacting known owners of the vehicles.

These vehicles are included in the recall:
-E-Z-GO TXT Fleet golf cars
-E-Z-GO Freedom TXT, Shuttle 2+2 TXT and Valor personal golf cars all with one bench seat and one rear-facing seat
-E-Z-GO Express with two bench seats and one rear-facing seat,
-E-Z-GOTerrain with a cargo bed
-Cushman Shuttle vehicles
-Bad Boy Buggies HD, LD, LTO, and LT Safari utility vehicles
