AIKEN CTY, S.C. --- The South Carolina Court of Appeals rules the James Brown auction may take place, as scheduled. It's on for this Thursday, at Christie's in New York.
Just last week, former trustees Buddy Dallas and Alfred Bradley filed a motion to have an emergency stay of the auction. But, the current trustees Adele Pope and Robert Buchanan filed a motion to lift the stay.
After review, the court decided the auction may take place, as planned.
