There may be a change ahead for Georgia's divorce law.
Today the House is looking at a bill that includes a 120-day waiting period for parents with minor children who want a divorce.
Bill 25 does not require extra time for couples with no children.
The current waiting time is 30 days.
The bill would also require parents of minor children to get counseling for the children on coping with divorce.
If approved, the bill must go back to the Senate for final approval.
