The search continues for the South Carolina man suspected of kidnapping and raping two teenage girls in an underground room.
Someone spotted Kenneth Glenn Hinson Wednesday night near the Darlington-Chesterfield county line, but investigators were not able to catch him.
Officers believe he's still armed, on foot, and in the area.
Shortly before his release from prison in 2000, the state attorney general recommended Hinson be committed indefinitely to a Department of Mental Health facility as a sexually violent predator.
