Sex offender allegedly strikes again in Darlington County, SC

Deputies in Darlington County, SC say they were shocked by what they found yesterday: an underground bunker where they say a convicted sex offender assaulted two girls.

Authorities say 48-year-old Kenneth Glenn Hinson lived very close to the teens.

Hinson allegedly broke into their home in the middle of the night and kidnapped them.

Investigators say by the morning, the girls managed to free themselves from the duct tape, and kicked through the shed's door to escape.

Hinson had served time for a sex crime that happened back in 1991.

Investigators say Hinson served his time and followed the regulations...and that there was no way of predicting that something similar might happen again.
