COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities were searching in the Orangeburg area for an inmate who has been on the run for for almost three weeks.
SLED Special Agent Bobbi Schlatterer said officers were looking for 28-year-old Rayshawn James, who was serving six months for crack cocaine distribution. It was not known late Thursday night how much time James had left on his sentence.
Schlatterer said James escaped from Palmer Prerelease Center in Florence on June 28. No further details were available.
