Members of the Richmond County Board of Education are meeting Thursday night, and the controversy surrounding the superintendent’s contract could come to a head.
The board will discuss Charles Larke's evaluation in a closed personnel meeting.
New board member A. K. Hasan has questioned the part of the contract that extends Dr. Larke's employment if he gets a satisfactory evaluation.
Even if the board gives Dr. Larke an unsatisfactory evaluation, he gets to stay on the job until his current contract runs out.
