You'll soon see higher water in the Savannah River below Thurmond Dam.
Starting Friday, the Corps of Engineers is increasing water release to help fish migration.
The idea is to help the fish get to the rocky shoals upstream from Augusta.
This is the third year for the project.
You're warned to be careful when you're near or on the water for the next few weeks.
