Will three towns become one?? That's what commissioners for Graniteville, Vaucluse, and Warrenville are discussing. Commissioners have six things they want voters to think about...here they are:

1) In favor or in opposition of the incorporation
2) Choose its type of government
3) Decide on term limits for city council members
4) Decide how elected officials are chosen
5) Decide between a partisan and non-partisan form of election for city council members
6) Name of the new town.

The commission is waiting on the Justice Department to agree on a voting date of August 26th.

Graniteville it's self hasn't grown in decades. Even when the mills were active, Graniteville had the same shops and resturants it's always had. Employees spent their income elsewhere. I'm not sure that incorperating three towns would change anything, except increasing the taxes on citizens maybe?
