Construction delays at Savannah River Site could cost you money.
The SRS Citizens Advisory Panel says delays for a nuclear processing center at the site could cost taxpayers $1 billion.
The Department of Energy says the waste plant will be delayed until 2011.
The government wants a stronger building that could withstand natural disasters, including earthquakes and tornadoes.
