News 12 has learned two teens are facing charges for having sex on campus.
The Columbia County sheriff's office just confirmed to News 12 that two sixteen-year-old students at Lakeside High School were arrested Tuesday afternoon.
They are charged with indecent exposure. They have also been suspended from school for five days.
A security officer says he caught the two on campus having sex in a softball field dugout.
This happened at 7:30 Tuesday morning.
After a detention hearing today, the teens have been released to their parents.
This case has been turned over to juvenile court.
No court date has been set.
