On Your Side: Kroger Beef Recall
There's another big recall for you to be aware of. This one involves the ground beef sold from a popular grocery chain. The big worry this time is E. coli.

Kroger is considered to be the second largest grocer in the country and that's why when it issues a recall on something like ground beef, there's going to be a lot of you who could be affected.
There are several different types of beef being recalled, and as you can imagine, Kroger stores are busy taking it off the shelves.
Again, the big worry here is that some of them can be contaminated with e-coli, which if you ingest it can cause some serious harm to your body.
The only one you should be looking for is called the Private Selection Natural Ground Beef. It was sold in 16 ounces packages. The sell by dates are July 11 through July 21. It was sold at Kroger stores all over the country.
If this is in your fridge or freezer, please return it to the store for a full refund. Do not eat it.
