College Station, TX--
Some new studies are showing that the rind on watermelon has the same effect as Viagra, the sexual-assistance drug.
Texas A & M University has been studying the effects.
The only catch so far is that most people don't eat the watermelon rind. That's where the ingredient, called Citruline, is located. It relaxes blood vessels.
Scientists are now working on breedng melons with higher levesl of Citruline in the flesh--the part most people eat.
