A string of recent home invasions has one thing in common, the victims. Police say thieves are targeting Hispanics.

Police say there have been a series of common robberies across the CSRA, several of those were last month. In each case, thieves demanded only cash. All the victims were Hispanic males.

Victims held up at gunpoint. The suspect steals cash. Officers say this happened twice last month at Hunter's Run, in apartments that are within walking distance of each other. Some of manager Todd Dickson’s tenants are worried about the alarming trend.

"No matter where you go nowadays, you have to be cautious," Dickson said.

Major Ken Autry says Hispanics may be targeted across the CSRA.

"We suspect that's because they're known to carry large amounts of cash," Autry said.

Cash they intend to send to family members living outside the U.S.

According to the incident report, the alleged suspects in the first robbery asked the people living in 4B if they wanted females.

"He said the suspects came there and accused him of ordering a prostitute," Autry said.

A prostitute the alleged victims in the first robbery say they didn't order. According to the report, two men forced their way in and took money at both apartments around 1 o’clock in the morning, on different days during the month. Reports go on to say the suspects fled the scene after taking cash, both times with a semiautomatic gun.

"The descriptions are similar," Autry said.

According to Major Autry, a black male and white male in both. A woman was there for the first, three people Todd Dickson wants locked up.

"Justice will be served. It's just a matter of catching the bad guy,” Dickson said.

Bad guys officers say they're searching for. To give people like Todd Dickson and his tenants peace of mind. Officers say there was a third robbery against an Hispanic male last month. This one was in Columbia County. And again, the report says the suspects only took cash. The robberies are still under investigation.
