AUGUSTA, Ga.---Richmond County investigators arrested 32 year old Charles Tremblay at Wild Wings off Washington Road. He was arrested as he arrived for his evening shift.
A suspected "peeping Tom" invaded the Target along Robert C. Daniel Jr. Parkway, and he was arrested one day after investigators released surveillance video.
"We are happy to have him off the streets and provide him a place to stay so to speak," said Lt. Scott Peebles.
Investigators say it's all thanks to local viewers. "As has happened with case after case after case...someone sees it on T.V. calls us...points us in the right direction and makes us look good...makes the community safer," said Lt. Peebles.
Investigators say Charles Tremblay struck at the Augusta Mall back in November. "This is after he had already been convicted one time...possibly more," said Lt. Peebles.
Charles Tremblay has been making headlines across the state of Georgia. Two residents at the Polo Club Apartment Complex in Athens spotted him hiding in the bushes back in 2006.
"He was caught then had an opportunity to say...hey getting a little too close for comfort...better quite this and it's obvious that he has impulse issues and cannot control his own behavior or refuses to do it so we're going to accommodate him in a place to stay until can he can do that," said Lt. Peebles.
Tremblay is being held on 2 counts of being a peeping Tom. He could face up to 5 years in prison.
