A Bamberg County reserve deputy is in jail today on a charge of rape and he's accused of committing the crime in uniform. South Carolina Law Enforcement Division says Isaac James was arrested for 1st degree criminal sexual conduct and first degree burglary.

Authorities say James forced the woman to have sex with him twice while providing security for her. James is still being held at the Orangeburg-Calhoun Regional Detention Center.
