Former State Senator Charles Walker is starting to pay some of the money he owes from his recent criminal case. News 12 has learned Mr. Walker paid $279,900 in fines and assessments yesterday. That money will cover Mr. Walker and two of his businesses. The fines were part of last month's sentencing. Walker still has to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in restitution. And he has to serve ten years in prison. He has until the 15th to report.
