Augusta, Ga (WRDW) - Hair thieves have struck again at an Augusta Hair store, stealing what owners say could be close to 20,000 dollars worth of hair.
It happened at Hair Depot off of Deans Bridge Road on Thursday. They say surveillance shows the men stealing the hair but they couldn't be identified in the video.
Customers are shocked as well, asking why someone would take hair that is very affordable to buy.
"I bought mine for $24.99, and I didn't have to steal it," said a customer walking out of the Hair Depot Saturday afternoon.
News 12 asked the owners if they would like to comment but they declined our interview.
This isn't the first time thieves have struck the Hair Depot. An earlier incident in 2011 involved two suspects who were charged with stealing dozens of packs of hair.
