UPDATE: Name released of man who drowned in McCormick Co.

MCCORMICK COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- News 12 has learned the name of the man who drowned over the weekend in Plum Branch, S.C.

Juawasus Adams, 20, of Simpsonville, S.C., drowned Saturday at the Clark Hill Training Site in Plum Branch.

MCCORMICK COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- A 20-year-old man has died from drowning in McCormick County.

It happened at the Clark Hill Training Site in Plum Branch. The McCormick County Coroner's Office got the call at 8:25 a.m. and a dive team recovered the body at 10:50 a.m.

The 20-year-old was from Simpsonville and was at the training site for a family gathering, according to the coroner's office.
