AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The temporary storm debris dump sites located at Carrie Mays Park and Lake Olmstead are closed because of the amount of debris dropped off, Augusta's Disaster Preparedness Coordinator said.

Those with limbs can still drop it off at Eisenhower Park and the Augusta Landfill and is still free of charge, Mie Lucas said in a press release.

She said other small yard waste placed in bags or small piles will be picked up by the regular Augusta solid waste hauler.
