UPDATE: 2 injured after accident on Whiskey Road

Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. -- Aiken County emergency workers had to work to get a driver out of the car after an accident on Whiskey Road Tuesday night.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol says a pickup truck was headed toward New Ellenton when the black car pulled out in front.

Both drivers had to be taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The crash, which happened near Alpine Drive, caused some traffic tie-ups.
