AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Two suspects have been arrested and another is wanted in connection to the theft of railroad metal.

Investigators say Bobby James Murray and Karen Longfritz were found with 1,060 pieces of railroad track anchors.

Investigators also found 1,350 railroad spikes and 63 railroad anchors in the yard of a home at 1228 Brown Road. Murray's niece, Amanda Holsomback, lives at the home and investigators say she was found to be in possession of the stolen metal.

According to a joint investigation between the Richmond County Sheriff's Office and the Norfolk Southern Railroad Police, the group stole the metal on different days while trespassing at the railroad yard at International Boulevard and Doug Barnard Parkway.

Longfritz and Holsomback were arrested on Wednesday and booked into the Richmond County Jail on separate counts of felony theft by taking.

Investigators are still searching for Murray, who is wanted on a charge of felony theft by taking. If you know where he is, call Inv. Kendall Brown at (706) 821-1020.
