Asking For Federal Help For Tornado Damage

This morning -- Georgia Governor, Sonny Perdue, is asking the president to help hard-hit residents recover in Cherokee County.
This, after a tornado touched down there.. nine days ago.
Perdue's calling for a disaster area declaration, so federal money will be available to clean-up storm damage and rebuild.
The state's insurance commissioner says the damage is upwards of 40 million dollars.
