AIKEN, S.C. --- The investigation into the death of Ann Smith, the mother of three and teacher at Kennedy Middle School in Aiken, continues without the help of some family.

Investigators say, a week after Ann's daughter Lauren is excluded as a suspect, Ann's estranged husband and 2 sons still are not talking with them.

Ann was found dead in her home on Whitney Drive, stabbed to death. Her co-workers went to the house to check on her when she did not show up for work on a Friday.

Lauren, along with several friends, co-workers and acquaintances has also been cleared of the murder.

If you have any information on this case, please call the Aiken Department of Public Safety. They say they are working the case everyday to find out just what happened to Smith.
