Major Boost For Military:

The plan to build a new center for families of injured military members is receiving another major donation. The C.S.R.A. Alliance for Fort Gordon is donating 100-thousand dollars. That's on top of the 250- thousand dollars the Augusta National donated to help build Fisher House at the Norwood V.A. Medical Center on Wrightsboro Road. Families of injured or wounded military members can stay at those houses free of charge. Construction should begin next year.
