COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina motorcyclists would be able
to run some red lights under a measure heading to the governor's
desk.
The Senate and House agreed Thursday on a bill allowing
motorcyclists, mo-ped drivers and bicyclists to go through a stop
light after waiting for two minutes if the light doesn't change and
the intersection is clear.
The bill is being ratified and will be sent to Gov. Mark
Sanford. Sanford spokesman Joel Sawyer said the governor hasn't
reviewed the legislation. He says it would be a challenge to
enforce.
