Augusta, GA--

Officers in Richmond and Columbia Counties are comparing notes on two recent Subway store robberies.

The latest happened Friday afternoon on Dean's Bridge Road. A man at the rear of the restaurant approached an employee who was taking out the trash.

The robbery could be connected to a similar one Thursday night at the Subway on Washington Road in Martinez.

That robber, also with a gun, approached a worker who was taking out the trash.

Deputies are now looking at some surveillance video from the stores.
