Help For Storm Victims:

There's help out there for those affected by weekend storms in Jefferson County. The Augusta Red Cross has set-up a shelter at the Louisville Methodist Church. It's located at 301 West 7th Street. If you have questions or need more information, you can call (706) 724-8481.
If you'd like to help the storm victims, the Red Cross is also taking donations. You can do that by visiting their website, arcaug.org.

Weekend Homicide:

Richmond County Investigators are still trying to track down two murder suspects. This, after a shooting at East Augusta Commons around midnight Saturday. Investigators found 26 year old, David Reader, slumped over, dead in his car. They say he was shot a number of times in the chest, and that it appears the shooting was drug-related.
Deputies are looking for two black males, in their late teens or early twenties. If you know anything about this shooting, please call the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.

Night Out For Charity:

If you didn't get to do something special for mom on Sunday, here's something she might like. It's 'Celebrity Waiter Night' at eleven restaurants around Aiken, and it's all for a good cause. The restaurants taking part this year to benefit the Children's Place are
Malia's, Outback, Up Your Alley, Olive Oils, Davor's Cafe, The Reserve Club at Woodside Plantation, Cuizine, Casa Bella, Linda's Bistro, Sugar Magnolia Cafe, and Tako-Sushi. To make your resevervations, just call the restaurant of your choice. It's costs $25/person. Tips also go to the charity. For more information on the fundraiser, call (803)641-4144.
