Aiken, SC., May 10 – The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office late Friday arrested two men after investigators discovered a pair of methamphetamine laboratories at a home and in nearby woods, in Beech Island, South Carolina.

Hans L. Lariscey, 51, 553 Pine Log Road, Lot 2, Beech Island, South Carolina, is charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

Shawn C. Lowman, 36, 553 Pine Log Road, Lot 2, Beech Island, South Carolina, is charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

Investigators first searched 553 Pine Log Road, in Beech Island, where they found chemicals and components to make methamphetamine. They then moved to a wooded area on Blackstone Camp Road, where they found more chemicals and equipment.

Both men are being held at the Aiken County Detention Center. These discoveries bring the total number of methamphetamine labs found this year in Aiken County to 12.
