Man arrested after driving truck into furniture store

AIKEN, S.C.---A man is accused of turning his pickup truck into a pinball Saturday afternoon in Aiken.

Police say the driver was drunk when he left a restaurant shortly after noon. Witnesses say the driver backed into a car in the parking lot of the Mi Rancho Mexican restaurant.

After hitting the car, the driver is accused of losing control of his truck on Richland Ave. and driving into Badcock Furniture Store.

The truck's driver was taken to a hospital and will be arrested and charged the DUI.

No one else was injured in the two crashes. The suspect's name has not been made public yet.
