AGRA, India---Television pictures from India Wednesday showed the dramatic rescue of a two year old girl from a well.

The girl had fallen into the 45-foot well Tuesday while playing. She had been trapped for more than a day.

The Army dug a pit next to the well, then made a tunnel to reach the child.

After she was brought out of the well, the girl was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police will now investigate why the well was left uncovered.

Poor girl! the writer didn't do a good job b/c he said the girl got out of the well then explained how they got her out which was confusing!
