AUGUSTA, Ga.---Looks like the Botanical Gardens in downtown Augusta might not be going to the dogs after all...not if one Augusta commissioner has anything to do with it.

Commissioner Jerry Brigham wants to look at three other locations: Damascus Road next to the skate park, Diamond Lakes Regional Park, and Radford Park behind Lake Olmstead Stadium.

Construction could cost anywhere from $80,000 to $90,000.

Commissioners will take on the dogs next Tuesday (April 1).
