Woman Missing:

20 year old Myra Cervantes Rios is still missing this morning. She was last seen on the 300 block of Mechelle Way in Augusta on March fourth.
Officers say she is mentally challenged and may be with an asian male. If you know where she is, please call the Richmond County Sheriff's office.

To The Dogs?

Another vote will be taken about whether the Augusta Botanical Gardens will be the newest place for dogs to run around leash-free. Commissioner, Jerry Brigham, wants to look at three other locations: Damascus Road, next to the Skate Park; Diamond Lakes Regional Park; and Radford Park, behind Lake Olmstead Stadium. Commissioners will take on the dog park issue again next Tuesday.

Heading To The Polls:

Voters in New Ellenton are heading to the polls today. They're open between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Voters will be filling three open seats on both the city council and the water commission.

Spring Cleaning:

Your closet isn't the only thing getting a little spring cleaning around here. The Coliseum Authority is doing the same for the James Brown Arena, by bringing in temporary workers to spruce the place up.
Painting and quote "thorough cleaning" are both on the "to-do" list. The arena is also undergoing major bathroom renovations.
