AUGUSTA, GA--An accident sends one person to the MCG Friday night and investigators are looking to find the driver who hit him.

Police tell News 12 a car pulled out in front of a motorcyclist, causing him to hit the car. Police say he was thrown about 25 feet in the air over the car. His helmet was knocked off.

This all happened on Wrightsboro Road and Valley Park Drive around 6:30 Friday night.

Richmond County Police are looking for a gold or tan car, possibly a Chevy Malibu with severe damage on the driver side.

Corporal Redmond at Richmond County Hit and Run Division tells News 12 the motorcyclist was not injured as badly as initially thought. He says he only suffered a broken wrist.

Call Richmond County Police at (706) 821-1080 if you have any information on the driver in this hit and run accident. Police are still looking for the driver who hit the motorcyclist.

I'm a motorcycle rider myself and for someone to hit and run is appalling. I hope someone saw this accident and he/she gets caught. I'm sure they probably didn't have any car insurance and more than likely the reason they kept going. I hope this fine/punishment puts this preson in prison!!!
