BELVEDERE, S.C.---A street race may have led to a deadly wreck in Aiken County.

The coroner says Jerry Kemp was killed when a car veered into his lane to avoid a person in the road. The car hit Kemp's motorcycle.

However, officers think that pedestrian could have been a lookout.

Police say illegal drugs were found on Kemp.

The other driver was treated and released from MCG hospital.
