Augusta, Ga. --- It's been an emotional week for Rosa Lovett. Her sister, 42-year-old Laura Felder, killed last weekend after 19-year-old Jamie Clark led a Richmond County Deputy on a high-speed chase down Gordon Highway. That chase, ended in a fatal crash at Old Savannah Road, killing Laura.

"I just saw her. I mean, somebody come and tell you your sister was in a fatal car accident. She's dead and that's all the information you can get until Monday morning," Rosa Lovett said.

Laura's family said she was at a point where she could start enjoying life, but said it was taken from her too soon.

"Just so hard right now. It was so unexpected and she was here such a brief time you know. Just 42 years," Frankie Young said.

For Rosa, saying goodbye for the last time at the funeral, is the hardest part.

"I still don't believe it. I still don't believe it," Lovett said.

Surrounded by a large family, they remember Laura as hard-working, a loving mother, a sweet sister, who was full of life. Laura had three children, all in high school. Rosa said the children are horrified.

"It's just a disbelief. I mean they don't believe their Mama is gone. They had just told her, 'see you later Mom' and she left to go get something to eat," Lovett said.

Rosa said right now, she's trying to get herself through this difficult time.

"I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Nobody should have to go through a tragic like this. Nobody," Lovett said.

Laura was 42-years-old, and was about to celebrate her 43rd birthday on March 12th.
