COCHRAN, Ga.---Classes have returned to normal at Middle Georgia College in Cochran after a man was taken into custody there.
The college 120 miles south of Atlanta was placed on lockdown Monday morning after a student reported seeing a man with a gun on campus. Police then combed the campus, room by room.
They have taken one man into custody and say he is not a student.
The lockdown was lifted at noon.
Middle Georgia College is a public two-year school, with a main campus in Cochran and a center in Dublin. It also offers a four-year aviation science degree.
