School bus crash injures dozens

CANTON, Ga.---Up to 27 students were being treated today after a school bus hit a utility pole, then overturned.

They were on their way to Sequoyah High School and Dean Rusk Middle School in Cherokee County, north of Atlanta.

Police say none of the injuries is life-threatening. One boy was airlifted to a hospital as a precaution.

The accident happened about 8 a.m. on Hickory Flat Highway, about two miles from the schools, which are next to each other.
